Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid and current OT license in the state
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP process and ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students in accessing the academic curriculum
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to deliver integrated therapy services
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress updates tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Document sessions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines
- Contribute to a positive and supportive learning atmosphere, adapting strategies to accommodate a diverse student population
