Qualifications:
- Current Arizona Occupational Therapy license (AZ OT)
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ fp card)
- Solid background in school-based OT services, as well as experience with healthcare, home health, and/or teletherapy considered a plus
- Adaptable communication and documentation skills
- Strong commitment to evidence-based practice and student progress
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to students in accordance with each IEP
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies supporting students’ academic and functional success
- Keep accurate and timely records of assessments, progress, and outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for IEP planning and implementation
- Utilize a flexible approach to serving multiple school sites or working across different therapy delivery models as needed
This assignment is for the full 2026-2027 academic year, with flexible hours per week and specific placements determined during onboarding. The district has a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere, and supports streamlined interviewing and onboarding—including quick interviews and decisions, plus all required fingerprinting prior to your start.
