Virtual Occupational Therapist - VA
Provide occupational therapy services through telehealth to school-aged children in a fully remote capacity. This role involves delivering comprehensive evaluations, designing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families to support students' developmental and functional goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting virtual occupational therapy assessments and interventions using a specialized telehealth platform
- Developing personalized treatment strategies to address students' needs in a remote learning environment
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participating in virtual team meetings and consultations with school personnel and caregivers
- Utilizing clinical resources and technical support to enhance service delivery
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Valid occupational therapy license with current credentials
- Experience providing OT services in educational settings, particularly with school-aged children
- Proven ability to deliver therapeutic services via telehealth platforms
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage students, families, and multidisciplinary teams remotely
- Familiarity with virtual assessment tools and interactive learning materials
