Teletherapy Occupational Therapist | Virginia
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist experienced in telehealth services within a school setting. This position is fully remote, allowing the delivery of specialized support through a virtual platform designed for seamless telepractice.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing telehealth interventions that promote student engagement and progress. Collaboration with educators and families to support student goals and participation in virtual meetings will be key aspects of the role.
Key qualifications and experience sought:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure and relevant credentialing
- Proven experience delivering OT services via telehealth, preferably in educational environments
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff remotely
- Ability to utilize virtual platforms and digital tools for assessments and therapy sessions
- Familiarity with interactive educational software and teleconferencing applications such as Zoom Pro
