This is a full-time 1099 independent contractor opportunity offering competitive weekly pay, consistent hours, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative school environment.
Responsibilities
* Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for students referred for services.
* Develop, implement, and monitor therapy goals as part of each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
* Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in school-based settings.
* Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and other related service providers to support student success.
* Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
* Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and classroom strategies to improve student participation and independence.
* Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and therapy service logs.
* Utilize virtual platforms for meetings, collaboration, and documentation when appropriate.
* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district special education requirements.
Qualifications
* Active California Occupational Therapist license required.
* Minimum of 2 years of recent school-based experience preferred.
* Experience conducting evaluations and developing IEP goals.
* Comfortable using virtual technology and online platforms.
* Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
* Candidates licensed in additional states are encouraged to apply, as we may have opportunities available in those locations as well.

1099 Independent Contractor Information
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors are paid weekly in full for all approved hours worked. No deductions are taken for benefits, retirement, liability insurance, or taxes. Contractors are responsible for setting aside funds for income taxes and obtaining their own professional liability insurance.
