What We’re Seeking:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for California
- Proven experience working within schools, ideally with K-8th grade populations
- Strong understanding of IEP documentation, evaluations, and therapy implementation specific to educational environments
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
- Ability to adapt to a diverse caseload, providing both direct therapy and consultative services
Role Expectations:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to students in grades K-8
- Assess students’ functional abilities within the classroom and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to IEP meetings and progress reporting
- Deliver both direct and consultative interventions aligned with each student’s educational goals
- Maintain timely, thorough documentation of all services provided
- Support classroom staff with strategies and accommodations to enhance student participation
- Effectively manage your schedule to cover leaves and meet caseload needs
