Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California
- Previous pediatric or school-based therapy experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manage a busy caseload (approximately 80 students)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Commitment to working onsite and providing exceptional care to students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver OT or COTA services onsite in two elementary schools
- OT: Supervise a COTA at one assigned site, work 8 hours per day (unpaid lunch)
- COTA: Support two elementary school campuses, work 7.5 hours per day (unpaid lunch)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop effective treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Support students in achieving their educational and developmental goals
