Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapy (OT) certification/license for the state of Illinois is required
- Experience delivering occupational therapy services within school settings is highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs
- Strong organizational skills and efficient caseload management
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, staff, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students as indicated by IEPs and student needs
- Assess, develop, and implement treatment plans tailored to individual goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and district policies
- Adjust schedule as needed to meet caseload demands; flexibility will be key as the exact schedule is dependent on caseload
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices
