Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active OT license
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Capable of developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Adaptable to the varied needs and diverse backgrounds of students
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities, performance skills, and participation limitations
- Plan and deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions to improve students’ success in academic and daily activities
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to support student outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation, progress notes, and billing records in compliance with regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and interpreting evaluation findings
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies and proper use of adaptive equipment
