What You Will Bring:
- Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA); (two COTA openings available)
- Experience or comfort working in a school setting or with pediatric, autistic populations
- Licensure to practice OT or COTA in New York
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to a child-centered, strength-based approach
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver individual OT services in 30-minute sessions (approx. 8–9/day) to students age 3–12 with autism and related needs
- Follow pre-made schedules—no need to manage your own caseload time slots
- Utilize designated electronic documentation software; a laptop provided for work tasks
- Take part in morning/afternoon prep times for planning, documentation, and team meetings
- Employ sensory processing strategies and push-in services as needed
- Work collaboratively in a transdisciplinary team environment
- Participate in robust training, including behavior management and orientation specific to the program
