School Occupational Therapist - Trenton, North Carolina

Essential requirements include current North Carolina OT licensure and the appropriate credentials or certifications to practice in school settings. You'll be part of a dynamic team serving approximately 45 students, providing a blend of direct and consultative services across a diverse caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active North Carolina Occupational Therapy license
- Appropriate credentials/certifications for school-based OT practice
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to supporting student growth and independence
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy to students in grades K-12 according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student success
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies tailored to each learner
- Maintain timely documentation and progress reports
- Attend relevant meetings as required and participate in team discussions
Assignment Details:
- 30-35 hours per week
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Support a caseload of about 45 students across various grade levels
