This position is an onsite contract opportunity, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 39 hours. With a manageable caseload of 45 to 50 students, you’ll have the chance to coordinate care, implement individualized intervention plans, and participate in IEP meetings making a real difference in young learners’ lives.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active North Carolina licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience in schools, home health, or related pediatric settings is highly valued
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Skilled at assessing, developing, and implementing individualized treatment programs
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy sessions and conduct assessments for students with varying needs from elementary through middle school
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans, goals, and progress reports
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary school teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Support safe, adaptive participation in classroom and school activities
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and professional guidelines
- Consult with teachers and families to maximize therapy effectiveness and carry-over
