School Occupational Therapist - Tuckerton, New Jersey

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active New Jersey Occupational Therapy license
- Valid NJ Department of Education certification
- Demonstrated experience working in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings
- Previous exposure to school-based OT preferred; home health OT experience is a plus
- Up-to-date on standard New Jersey onboarding and credentialing requirements, including fingerprints
- Ability to thrive in multi-school assignments and adapt to diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students across district schools
- Evaluate students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to implement effective interventions
- Support students’ physical, sensory, and cognitive needs to maximize their participation in school activities
- Adhere to all district documentation standards and maintain accurate records
- Participate in team meetings to inform best practices and program improvements
The assignment is full-time, with hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:50 am to 3:40 pm, and 7:30 am to 2:20 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
