This is an exciting opportunity for skilled Occupational Therapists to support elementary-aged students in a vibrant school-based setting near Tucson, AZ. Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license
- Valid fingerprint clearance card
- Previous experience in schools, home health, or pediatric healthcare environments is preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for working with elementary-age children and developing individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and create individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to elementary school students, addressing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student success
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Adapt and implement strategies to promote student independence and participation within the classroom environment
