The assignment runs from ASAP through May 11, 2027, providing a stable and impactful experience.
You'll dedicate one hour per week to this student, splitting your time evenly—30 minutes for direct intervention and 30 minutes for documentation. Your work will play a crucial role in supporting the student's growth and participation in their school environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania
- Demonstrated experience in school-based, home health, or broader pediatric OT settings
- Ability to provide individualized services and maintain detailed documentation
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and team members
- Commitment to professional ethics and ongoing development within your discipline
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one occupational therapy sessions targeted to the needs of a 6th grade student
- Assess skills and create individualized goals aligned with the student's educational plan
- Maintain accurate notes, tracking progress toward goals and documenting direct service minutes
- Collaborate with school staff and family to ensure therapy aligns with classroom objectives
- Uphold confidentiality and all professional standards while working in the school setting
