Key Qualifications:
- Valid OT license and credentials, eligible to practice in Connecticut
- Demonstrated experience in school-based occupational therapy settings
- Ability to tailor interventions to meet the diverse needs of students across multiple age groups
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Available 2–3 days per week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and one additional weekday)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students district-wide, promoting access and participation in school activities
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Document services and maintain thorough records compliant with school district and legal requirements
- Adapt therapy approaches as appropriate for different ages, from preschoolers to young adults in transition programs
- Provide consultative support and training to school staff as needed
