Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in occupational therapy required
- Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Prior experience in a school-based OT role is highly desirable
- Must be comfortable working onsite across multiple school locations
- COTA candidates are not eligible, as supervision cannot be provided
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills when collaborating with educators, students, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to students identified with needs, designing individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
- Participate in student evaluations, write detailed progress reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Educate families and school personnel on strategies to support student development
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation according to school and legal standards
This contract role spans the academic calendar through June 2027 with a weekly commitment of 32.5 hours, allowing you to build consistent, meaningful relationships with students and staff.
