Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active OT license in Washington State
- Previous experience working as a school Occupational Therapist preferred
- Knowledge of educational frameworks, IEP processes, and therapy documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services within three local schools
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Support students with fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills to maximize their participation in the classroom
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records and documentation compliant with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering your professional insights to guide student progress
