You'll have the support of two skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), making collaboration an integral part of your day-to-day experience.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as a School Occupational Therapist or eligibility for licensure
- Previous school-based OT experience is preferred
- Strong organizational skills for documentation and caseload management
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational staff
- Familiarity with IEP development, goal-setting, and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic interventions for students to enhance participation and performance in the school environment
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and COTAs to deliver coordinated services
- Develop individualized programs and support IEP implementation
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for students and their families
