This contract, onsite opportunity allows you to work with a smaller, manageable caseload of 35-45 students across up to three schools, fostering meaningful relationships with both students and staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Wisconsin professional license as an Occupational Therapist
- Valid Educator Certification for the state of Wisconsin
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an elementary setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when partnering with teachers, parents, and related service staff
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans that support student growth and participation in the school environment
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide Occupational Therapy services to elementary students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Evaluate students to determine strengths, needs, and required interventions
- Develop therapy goals and plans considering the unique needs within the school setting
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, session notes, and compliance records
- Participate in IEP meetings, consult with educators, and provide recommendations to enhance students' learning opportunities
- Travel between up to three designated schools in the area as needed for caseload management
