Key qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience working in school settings, especially with elementary and PreK students
- Strong collaboration skills to work alongside teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
- Passion for fostering growth and independence in young learners
- Please note: COTAs are not being considered for this position
Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating students to determine their strengths and areas for growth
- Designing and delivering direct occupational therapy services in both individual and group sessions
- Supporting the development of fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Providing resources and education to staff and families to help students achieve their fullest potential
