What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active and valid Illinois OT license
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans according to IEP goals
What you’ll do:
- Conduct assessments and develop targeted intervention strategies to help students participate fully in classroom activities
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Collaborate in IEP meetings, provide consultation and training for educational staff
- Document interventions and maintain compliance with all local and state guidelines
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment by adapting classroom materials and modifying activities as needed
- Communicate consistently with families to support carryover of therapy goals at home
