Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of early childhood and kindergarten developmental milestones
- Proficiency in developing individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to fostering student independence and growth
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ strengths and areas for growth
- Create and implement goal-driven therapy plans tailored to each child’s unique needs
- Support students in improving fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills vital for academic success
- Work closely with classroom teachers to integrate OT strategies into daily routines
- Maintain accurate progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding therapy goals and student progress
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive environment for all learners
