Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the state of South Carolina
- Experience or training in delivering OT services within a school environment (K-8 preferred)
- Ability to provide both onsite and remote/teletherapy interventions
- Proficient in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop targeted intervention plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs
- Support the development of students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills necessary for academic participation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth and engagement
- Maintain clear documentation, progress notes, and compliance with school guidelines and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress evaluations
