Qualifications:
- Possession of active New Mexico (NMRLD) Occupational Therapist license
- NMPED authorization (may be in pending status at time of hire, but required before start)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
- Commitment to fostering student development and independence
Duties:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students
- Provide direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEPs and school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation of services and student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development as needed
