Occupational Therapist School Setting in Whitehall, PA

Step into an impactful opportunity as an onsite occupational therapist, supporting students' development and success in a dynamic educational environment. This contract position offers a consistent 35-hour workweek starting ASAP through June 11, 2027. You’ll collaborate closely with school staff to assess, develop, and implement individualized interventions designed to help students achieve their fullest potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active Pennsylvania OT License required
- Previous school-based OT experience highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work efficiently with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEP development and related documentation
- Knowledge of state and district-specific protocols and requirements
- Flexibility and adaptability in a busy school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive OT services to a diverse student caseload
- Assess students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional abilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor progress on IEP goals
- Adapt and modify learning environments and tasks to address unique student needs
- Maintain up-to-date records and adhere to state and district documentation standards
- Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as needed
