Qualifications:
- Hold a valid North Carolina Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Experience providing OT services within a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Flexible, adaptable, and excited to support diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services according to students’ IEPs
- Assess and document students' functional abilities and progress
- Develop intervention strategies that enable student participation in daily school activities
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support planning
- Travel between schools as needed, providing consistent and compassionate care
