Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Delaware OT certification required
- Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, including direct service and documentation
- Strong background in conducting evaluations and assessments
- Skilled in writing comprehensive evaluation reports and reviewing IEPs, including 60-day reviews and progress benchmarks
- Comfortable attending and contributing to IEP meetings
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with school teams and families
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform thorough student evaluations and create tailored intervention plans
- Complete detailed reports aligning with IEP requirements and compliance standards
- Review and update 60-day IEPs, monitor benchmarks, and document students’ progress
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings as a subject matter expert
- Provide consultative support to educators and parents, ensuring therapy recommendations are effectively integrated into classroom routines
