About the Opportunity
We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team in the Wilmington, Delaware area. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with elementary students, collaborating with educators and families, and making a meaningful impact in a school-based setting.
This is an onsite position.
Position Highlights
- Provide speech and language services to an elementary school caseload.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy and support students in achieving their communication goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related-service professionals.
- Participate in IEP meetings, goal development, progress monitoring, and documentation.
- Support students with a variety of communication needs while promoting functional communication and academic participation.
- Work as part of a collaborative educational team committed to student success.
- Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
- Active Delaware SLP license required.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred/required as applicable.
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for helping elementary students build confidence and achieve their communication goals.
