About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a supportive school team in the Marblehead, Massachusetts area. This is an excellent opportunity for a COTA looking for a consistent full-time schedule and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students across multiple school settings.
Position Highlights
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based environment.
- Work across multiple school sites within the district.
- Collaborate with OTs, teachers, special education staff, families, and other related-service professionals.
- Support students in achieving their functional, developmental, and educational goals.
- Provide individualized interventions based on student needs and treatment plans.
- Participate in progress monitoring, documentation, and team collaboration.
- Receive clinical supervision and support from the district.
- Full-time Monday–Friday schedule, approximately 8:00 AM–2:30 PM.
- Position runs for the full school year.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current COTA certification and Massachusetts licensure or eligibility.
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for helping students develop greater independence and participation in their school environment.
