Occupational Therapist School Setting in Windsor, VT

A district-wide opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), working under the supervision of a district OT. This contract position will be working with students in grades K-12, across four buildings, and offers the chance to collaborate with passionate professionals dedicated to student success.
This role spans the full academic year, from August 26, 2026, to June 14, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week. You'll play a key part in ensuring all students have the support they need to thrive in their learning environments.
Qualifications:
- Active Vermont OT Certificate required
- Experience working in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to support diverse student needs in grades 2-12 (COTA must be able to cover 5th-12th grades and some 2nd-4th under supervision)
- Passion for helping students achieve their potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote student independence and participation in the school setting
- Maintain thorough documentation of services and student progress
