Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Occupational Therapy license required
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching Certificate necessary
- Experience in school-based OT settings is strongly preferred
- Ability to complete and contribute to IEP processes and documentation
- Skilled with evaluations, as well as direct and indirect therapy services
- Commitment to fostering student independence and participation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create written evaluation reports
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students, educators, and parents
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with district and state policies
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of interventions, progress, and outcomes
- Offer strategies and adaptations for classroom and school environments to support student success
