School Occupational Therapist | Woodland, Washington

This contract opportunity offers full-time onsite work in a district setting, serving students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team, addressing a broad spectrum of student needs, from mild to severe disabilities, and help foster greater independence and participation in school routines.
Preferred candidates possess:
- Washington State Occupational Therapy certification (required)
- Experience or interest in working with children and adolescents with diverse needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with educators, families, and support staff
- The ability to design and deliver individualized intervention plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Flexibility and adaptability when supporting multiple grade levels and various disabilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students requiring OT services
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy in classrooms and therapy spaces
- Supporting students in developing fine motor, self-care, and sensory regulation skills
- Maintaining timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state standards
