Occupational Therapist in California
Yucca Valley, CA
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide district-wide support across multiple school sites in the West End region. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse K–12 student population and make a meaningful impact in a collaborative school setting.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Assignment Dates: August 10, 2026 – June 4, 2027
- Extended School Year (ESY): Available for candidates interested in starting earlier
- Location: District-wide support across multiple school sites (Morongo Valley to Joshua Tree)
- Mileage Reimbursement: Provided for travel between sites
- Student Population: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
- Travel between assigned school sites to deliver services
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule across multiple sites
