Work Schedule:
- Days, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Monday through Friday
- One Saturday per month
- Holiday rotations required
Expand your knowledge by working alongside skilled practitioners in acute care, and gain insights into different workplace approaches. Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in New Mexico (or eligibility for NM licensure)
- Active BLS certification
- Minimum of one year of relevant acute care hospital experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized therapy plans for patients in a hospital setting
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other care professionals to deliver coordinated care
- Document patient progress and outcomes accurately in medical records
- Educate patients and families on therapy plans and rehabilitation strategies
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required
