Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Prior experience in a hospital or acute care environment preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of OT treatment techniques and best practices in healthcare
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within diverse care teams
• Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Skills in patient assessment, documentation, and individualized care planning

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time hours; specific shifts and contract length may vary by assignment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations to determine OT needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions aimed at improving patient function and independence
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other rehab professionals to optimize patient care
• Document all therapy sessions, progress, and patient responses in compliance with healthcare standards
• Educate patients and their families on therapy goals, exercises, and adaptive strategies
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to discharge planning
