Qualifications:
- Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in Washington, or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience in school-based OT preferred; home health or skilled therapy also valued
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans addressing fine motor, sensory integration, and daily living needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented and able to document student progress effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students with a wide range of needs
- Develop and execute individualized education plan (IEP) goals in partnership with educators and families
- Assess students’ skills and recommend adaptive equipment or accommodations as needed
- Gather and synthesize assessment information to guide interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for whole-child support
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
