Skilled Nursing Facility Occupational Therapist - Montesano, Washington

Your background in therapy and occupational therapy will be instrumental in helping children and adolescents overcome barriers to learning. You’ll work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals, implementing tailored interventions that make a lasting impact.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington State (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with pediatric/school-based therapy preferred
- Skilled in home health OT practices and healthcare OT interventions
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt strategies for diverse learning and physical abilities
- Capacity to work across individual and group settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with a range of physical, sensory, or developmental needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with school teams
- Consult with educators and families regarding student needs and progress
- Assist with adaptive equipment recommendations and classroom modifications
- Maintain accurate records and document all services in compliance with regulations
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation
