Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, active and in good standing
- Previous experience supporting students in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP documentation, progress tracking, and goal setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families
- Flexible and adaptable approach within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to manage a caseload and adjust to changing student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
- Support the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote student growth
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Contribute creative solutions to enhance student engagement and access to curriculum
