What we’re looking for:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure
- Previous experience providing occupational therapy services in school or healthcare settings encouraged
- Skilled in delivering occupational therapy interventions tailored for school-aged children
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to document student progress clearly and accurately
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment
What you’ll do:
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans designed by licensed occupational therapists
- Provide direct services to students with diverse abilities, supporting participation in academic and daily activities
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward individualized goals
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to adapt strategies and recommendations
- Assist in classroom modifications or accommodations to enhance student engagement
- Participate in relevant team meetings and contribute insights for individualized education plans (IEPs)
