School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Ashland, Mississippi

What we’re looking for:
- Active COTA licensure, with credentials valid for school-based practice
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children

- Reliable, adaptable, and able to manage a caseload independently
- Familiarity with occupational therapy documentation and progress tracking
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an occupational therapist
- Assisting in developing and following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collecting data and documenting student progress towards therapy goals
- Engaging students in therapeutic exercises and activities that foster fine motor, visual-motor, and sensory processing skills
- Communicating regularly with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals within classroom routines
- Maintaining compliance with school district and state requirements
