Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Walnut, MS

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current, valid state certification or eligibility as a COTA
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs and special education processes
- Collaborative, flexible attitude with effective communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and an enthusiasm for helping children succeed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions under the guidance of a supervising OT
- Support the development and adaptation of classroom materials and activities
- Collect and report progress data as part of the special education team
- Participate in developing IEP goals relevant to occupational therapy
- Communicate progress and needs with teachers, therapists, and families
