Desired Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Valid Massachusetts COTA license or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) under OTR supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Work closely with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff in adapting classroom activities and materials
- Assist in administering assessments, tracking student progress, and documenting individual outcomes
