Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with experience in school or early intervention settings preferred
- Positive, flexible, and collaborative approach to working with young children and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to a growing caseload and evolving environment
- Commitment to child-centered, individualized, and group therapy sessions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging occupational therapy services to early intervention classrooms with up to 10 children per room
- Work alongside a 1:1 teacher's assistant and a dedicated special education teacher in each classroom
- Provide both individual and group sessions, tailored to meet each child’s needs
- Document goals, progress, and outcomes for all children on your caseload
- Participate in collaborative planning and staff meetings as the program develops
