School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Cambridge, Massachusetts

Starting January 2027 through May 2027, you'll work full-time, supporting young learners as they build essential skills for everyday success. In this position, you will collaborate closely with occupational therapists, educators, and families to create positive, supportive environments that empower students to reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active COTA license/certification in Massachusetts (COTA MA)
- Previous experience working in school or pediatric settings is valuable
- Strong understanding of therapeutic best practices for elementary-aged children
- Skills in adapting interventions for diverse needs and abilities
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organization abilities
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy support as directed by an occupational therapist
- Assisting with the implementation of IEP goals and plans for students
- Working one-on-one or in small groups to improve fine motor, sensory, and self-care abilities
- Maintaining accurate records and providing progress updates
- Collaborating with school staff and families to ensure continuity of care
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive environment for students of all abilities
