Qualifications:
- Current COTA certification required
- Experience working with K-8 populations in a school setting preferred
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload and work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be available for a start date as soon as possible and able to commit through December 18th
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students on a designated caseload according to their IEP or 504 plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s unique needs
- Complete necessary documentation and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and regulatory standards
- Contribute to IEP meetings and team discussions as needed
- Adapt activities and learning materials to ensure accessibility for all assigned students
- Offer consultative support and classroom strategies as an integral part of the broader occupational therapy team
This contract offers a flexible schedule of 20-25 hours per week, working 3-4 days, with pay starting at $35 per hour. Caseload size and specifics will be discussed during the interview process to ensure a compatible fit.
