This position starts August 3 and continues through May 28, with weekly and daily hours that may vary to best serve the needs of the district. Your expertise will enable students to overcome barriers and achieve greater independence in their educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Must hold current COTA certification and credentials
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment strongly desired
- Familiarity providing therapy as part of an educational team
- Ability to follow treatment plans under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the implementation of individualized therapy plans for a diverse caseload
- Deliver services to students across all grade levels as directed by the supervising OT
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Accurately document student responses and maintain required records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
