Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Team player with excellent communication and organization skills
- Eagerness to collaborate with OTs, teachers, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed OT
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students from kindergarten through high school
- Track student progress and document session notes accurately and promptly
- Participate in planning meetings and contribute insights to help each student thrive
- Maintain a positive, encouraging atmosphere conducive to learning and personal development
Position Details:
- Contract position starting August 3 and ending May 28
- Part-time schedule: 12-15 hours per week over two days
