Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current COTA certification and licensure (or eligibility) in New Hampshire
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP implementation and documentation
- Comfortable supporting students with diverse needs in a middle school environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy intervention to middle school students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Support students’ participation in classroom and school activities through tailored therapeutic strategies
- Document student progress and assist with evaluation reports in a timely manner
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to deliver comprehensive care
- Assist with the development and implementation of student IEP goals
- Promote inclusion and independence for students with varying abilities
