School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Evergreen, Colorado

This contract position allows you to serve students in a school-based setting, offering flexibility and the chance to work with a collaborative educational team. The role will be part-time, serving one of several locations based on need and your availability, including Georgetown, Idaho Springs, Evergreen, or Black Hawk.
You’ll spend 8 to 15 hours a week (1–2 days) helping students acquire the skills they need to succeed in school and daily life. Your dedication will directly impact their confidence, independence, and academic achievement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a COTA or Occupational Therapist, with licensure to practice in Colorado
- Prior experience in a school environment preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for working with children and supporting diverse learning needs
- Flexibility to travel to one designated school community in the mountain area
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and school policies
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff to create and implement effective treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and document therapy sessions
- Communicate regularly with team members and families to review goals and adjust plans as needed
- Assist with evaluations and contribute insights for ongoing student assessments
